How I can help
A positive therapeutic relationship is an important part of psychological therapy.
I value meaningful and genuine connection, authenticity and kindness and I feel privileged to walk alongside people in their journey of healing and self-discovery.

Having some exposure to challenges in life is necessary for personal growth and the development of resilience. If you are feeling as though you may be lacking the skills to cope with difficult experiences, we can explore ways to help you understand and better cope with these challenges.

If you are having difficulty with relationships, whether that be with your child, your partner or family, friends, peers, colleagues or with even with yourself, I aim to support you in discovering new ways to make sense of your attachments and assist you in discovering ways to improve the quality of your important relationships.

If you are finding parenting to be an overwhelming or unfulfilling experience, we can work together to help you discover new ways to navigate through the difficulties of being a caregiver and to simplify and discover ways to enjoy the process of caregiving. If you are feeling disconnected from your child or your child is struggling and displaying behaviour that you find challenging, we can focus on developing your parenting skills and provide you with a greater understanding of your child's needs and behaviour, while learning about your own in the process.

I adopt a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach in my work. I consider the impacts that early relationship attachments and past experiences have on the way that we experience adulthood. I have experience with providing support to parents with a focus on strengthening the attachment between children and their caregivers, working with neurodiverse people, and with behavioural difficulties in children and adolescents. I have also worked in the areas of perinatal mental health, drug and alcohol addiction and occupational rehabilitation.

I am a Mother, and an animal and nature lover with an interest in all things creative. I have delighted in the process of creating the Grow Psychology Space to be a relaxed, welcoming and comfortable environment for clients to discover, nurture and heal, find peace and ultimately grow in the direction of the best version of themselves, in line with their goals and their values.
I aim to be relatable and down to earth, and I do my best to model authenticity in my interactions in the hopes that my clients will feel comfortable to show up as the truest version of themselves.

If you feel like I would be a good fit for you, please get in touch.
